Hassan GozalChairman

Hassan Gozal, obtained his BA degree in Economics from Bilkent University, Ankara in 1993.

Between 1994 and 2011, he joined Etsun and served as General Manager, Board Member and later as Chairman of the Company.

Ümit S. İnanç CEO

Ümit İnanç is the CEO and Board Member of DAAX Corporation FZE. He obtained his BA degree in Economics from Dokuz Eylül University, İzmir. and his master’s degree in International Business Law and EU from the Ticaret University, İstanbul.

During his career, İnanç worked in various sectors like commodity goods, oil, energy, and construction sectors in C-level positions. He is working in the same group of companies since 1989.

Tarık AlmazlarLegal

Tarık Almazlar has graduated from Istanbul University, the Faculty of Law in 1996. He has a comprehensive background in multinational companies as a solution and result-focused legal expert. Throughout his career, he has worked mainly in the energy sector, in developing new projects and resolution processes of a wide range of disputes intensively on commercial cases. In the first few years of his career, he worked as a lawyer in several law firms for general legal practices.

Before Tarik joined to Daax Group, he has gained significant experience in Turcas Petrol A.Ş. which is a listed company in BIST as an strong energy investor in Turkish market and Shell & Turcas Petrol A.Ş. that is one of major fuel distributor in Turkey operating with fuel dealers and lubricants distributors under SHELL brand as well as taking active role in London at Shell Energy Europe Ltd. as a legal counsel for Gas & Power division. He has extended his knowledge and experience within Daax Group in multi-sectoral business environment to support the Group from legal perspective.

Cem Y. ÖzyolHR & Corporate Communication

Cem Özyol earned his BA degree in Educational Science from İstanbul University in 1993. He obtained a pre-master degree in Human Resources Management in 1996 and a master degree in Business Administration in 2002 from İstanbul University Graduate School of Business.

He started his professional career in Human Resources in 1993 and has taken responsibilities in various companies ranking in the first 500 in Turkey such as Tekfen Holding, Sabancı Holding, Mercedes-Benz Türk, Asaş Alüminyum.

He is an experienced Human Resources Executive with a demonstrated history of working in different national and international industries. He has strong experiences in Retail, Production, Construction and Service organizations. He is skilled in strategy development and implementation, business planning, and corporate culture development.

Özyol is married, has two daughters. He speaks English and German.

Onur Köksal Finance

Onur Köksal obtained his BA degree in Business and Finance from Istanbul University in 2006 and his master degree in Financial Engineering from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2013 where he also continues his master degree in Business Law.

He started his professional career in Emerging Markets as a market trader in JMPorgan Chase Bank London office. Thenafter he took managerial roles in Sabancı Holding and Sanko Holding which are in the first 500 ranking in Turkey.

He has outstanding experiences in Cement, Energy, Financial Institution, Construction, Machinery, Textile, Agriculture, Packaging sectors. He is skilled in Business Management, Business Development, Holding level reorganisation, Company Value maximisation.

Köksal is married. He speaks English.

Fehim AtayInvestments

After finishing his high school education in TED Ankara College, Fehim Atay got his B.S. degree from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Social and Administrative Sciences. Later, he obtained his MBA from Walter E.Heller College of Business Administration-Roosevelt University , Chicago.

His busines life has started in S.T.F.A Holding Company as Financial Affairs -Planning and Budgeting officer. Later he has taken responsibilities in American Express Bank, in Koç-American Bank and in Koç Bank several managerial roles. He was assigned as Vice GM in Kocbank Nederland N.V. and then as GM and President of Management Board of Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan. After he came back to HQ /Turkey as Senior VP - Private Banking & International Activities & Foreign Subsidiaries under Koç Financial Services, he completed his banking career in 2008.
